RBI Mandate - Introduction of Legal Entity Identifier for RTGS and NEFT Transactions

The Reserve Bank of India has mandated the LEI Number for all payment transactions of value ₹50 crore and above undertaken by entities (non-individuals) for Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) and National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). The RBI Mandate is effective April 1, 2021. Kindly refer to the RBI Notification:

"Introduction of Legal Entity Identifier for RTGS and NEFT Transactions"
